ilos offers One-Click Captioning as an add-on service for existing enterprise contracts. We will add captions to your video through this simple process.
Step 1: Contact ilos Support:
As an ilos Admin, contact Support through the in-app chat service, or email email@example.com, to have the captioning service enabled for your account.
*Please let us know if you are interested in adding translating services. Languages available are Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Chinese, Russian, Italian, Dutch and Arabic. Videos must be spoken in English.
Step 2: Submit video to be captioned:
Once we've activated One-Click Captioning on your account, submit a video for captioning by clicking the "CC" icon beneath the video and then clicking the red "Request Captioning" button. You should see a green confirmation message pop up at the top right hand side of the ilos application.
Step 3: Wait appropriate turnaround time:
We have a 24 hour turnaround time. You will receive an email letting you know when your Captioning is complete.
Step 4: View updated video:
To view your video with the captions, click the Closed Captioning icon in the bottom right corner of your video so that it shows blue. Re-click the same icon to turn them off.
*Important note for editing a video: If you edit your video after it's been captioned, the captions will not reflect the edit. Because of this, we recommend editing your video before captioning. If you need to edit a video after it has been captioned, click here to learn how to edit the captions.
