The ilos + Zoom integration allows you to automatically pass recordings from your Zoom meetings directly to your ilos account.
If you are interested in having the Zoom integration for your organization, let us know in the in-app chat and we can get it turned on for your account.
Take a look at the following video or written instructions for set up:
Step 1: In your Zoom account (must be Pro or higher), navigate to Advanced > Zoom for Developers.
Step 2: Select Zoom API and then navigate to API Credentials in the Related Links table. Copy your API Key, API Secret, and Access Token.
Step 3: Go into your ilos Admin Account Settings > Integrations. Under Zoom Integration, paste in the API Key, API Secret, and Access Token you obtained from Zoom.
Step 4: Create an Auth user (email) and password. It is suggested that this be an ilos administrator. The auth user email acts as a fallback for a case in which Zoom doesn't recognize a user. It is not required that the auth password be the administrator's ilos or Zoom password.
Step 5: Copy the Endpoint URL from the ilos Zoom Integration box. Go back in to Zoom and select the Webhook tab. Paste in the Endpoint URL and enter in your Auth User and password. Hit Save.
Step 6: Go back to your Zoom dashboard and select Account Settings. Scroll down to the Recording section and ensure "Push notification to subscription URL when a cloud recording is available" is enabled. If it is not, click Edit and check the box. You will also want to make sure you set an auto delete for cloud recordings so that you don't use up all of your Zoom storage. We suggest setting it to one day because once the video is uploaded to ilos, it is okay for it to be deleted from the Zoom cloud.
Note: It can take 30-60 minutes for a video to upload from Zoom to ilos. This is due to the fact that we need to wait for Zoom to upload the video on their end before we can transfer it over.
